Plane: go to MSP!
Train: Amtrak has two routes, the Borealis and the Empire Builder, that travel from Chicago to Minneapolis. Both are about an 8-hour ride and arrive in St. Paul.
Car: From Chicago, this is about a 6 hour trip on I-94.
